Recap of Diddy’s Court Proceedings: Witness Testimony Reveals Alleged Assaults and Threats by Sean Combs
On Wednesday, testimonies from Deonte Nash, a former stylist and close confidant of Cassie Ventura, along with an arson investigator, shed light on allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs in his ongoing sex trafficking trial.
Deonte Nash, who previously worked for Sean “Diddy” Combs and maintained a close relationship with Cassie Ventura, took the stand Wednesday in the federal sex trafficking case against the music mogul.
Nash recounted an incident where he attempted to intervene to prevent Combs from assaulting Ventura. According to Nash, he and a woman named Mia, also known as “Victim-4,” tried to stop Combs but were pushed away. Nash described how Combs then physically assaulted Ventura, causing her to hit her head against the bed frame and bleed.
Nash observed that Combs appeared “terrified” upon seeing Ventura’s bleeding wound. Mia is scheduled to testify in the upcoming days.
Additionally, Nash testified that Combs threatened Ventura, stating he would post explicit images online and send them to her parents’ workplaces to get them fired.
Earlier in the day, the defense moved for a mistrial after a Los Angeles Fire Department arson investigator testified that the LAPD had discarded fingerprints from Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi’s residence following an alleged break-in by Combs. The judge dismissed the testimony and rejected the mistrial request.
Sean Combs faces multiple charges, including sex trafficking, transportation for prostitution, and conspiracy to racketeer. He was arrested in September 2024, with federal authorities accusing him of coercing victims into sexual acts over a span of two decades, from 2004 to 2024. Combs has consistently denied all allegations.
Former Assistant ‘Mia’ Expected to Testify
Prosecutors plan to call Mia, a former assistant and alleged victim, to testify on Wednesday. Her identity is protected by a pseudonym.
Witnesses also include Nash, an LAPD officer, and an arson investigator from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson emphasized that Mia is just beginning to process the trauma of Combs’s alleged sexual assault, stating, “She’s only starting to confront what he forced upon her, and she wishes to keep this secret forever.”
Her lawyer, Michael Ferrara, indicated that Mia would disclose details she intended to take to her grave, describing her as extremely distressed and fearful of recounting her experiences publicly.
