For over a quarter-century, JPMorgan has curated an annual summer reading list tailored specifically for its affluent clients. This year, a dedicated panel meticulously reviewed more than 1,000 book recommendations sourced from JPMorgan’s network of financial advisors, ultimately selecting a curated collection of 16 titles that resonate with their high-net-worth audience.
Darin Oduyoye, the Chief Communications Officer for JPMorgan Asset and Wealth Management and the coordinator of this year’s list, shared with CNBC that the selections this season emphasize “the theme of curiosity.”
“It’s about fostering reflection and inspiring transformation,” Oduyoye explained.

Oduyoye highlighted that insights from family offices played a significant role in shaping the list, with a focus on titles that prepare the next generation of leaders. Wall Street Journal praised Oishi’s contagious enthusiasm for understanding what makes life fulfilling. Another notable inclusion is Suzy Welch’s “Becoming You: The Proven Method for Crafting Your Authentic Life and Career,” which introduces a practical 13-step framework for personal development.
The list also features “Raising AI: An Essential Guide to Parenting Our Future” by De Kai, a timely exploration of artificial intelligence’s influence on contemporary life and its future implications.
