Fear-Fueled Attack in Boulder: Wife and Five Minors of Suspect Detained by ICE for Deportation

Law enforcement reports indicate that the family members and five minors associated with the individual accused of a federal hate crime and multiple attempted murders in Boulder, Colorado, have been apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, according to recent sources.
According to Fox News, the family has been placed into proceedings for “fast-tracked removal” from the United States.
The suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a citizen of Egypt, entered the U.S. on a visa that expired two years ago. Despite this, he was granted work authorization valid until March 2025.
The 45-year-old suspect reportedly confessed to authorities that he spent over a year meticulously planning Sunday’s assault, with specific targeting of a “Zionist community.” The attack occurred during a “Speed For Their Lives” event, organized to support the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas, where 12 individuals sustained injuries.
Eyewitnesses described the attacker shouting “Free Palestine!” before launching incendiary devices, including a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails, as reported by the FBI.
The victims, ranging in age from 52 to 88, were rushed to hospitals in the Denver area. Among them is a Holocaust survivor, highlighting the attack’s profound impact. As of Tuesday, three victims remained hospitalized, according to FOX31.
