Cardi B has issued a strong and unmistakable response to Offset’s latest financial requests amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, which now include a formal request for spousal support.
During a live session on X Spaces, the rapper expressed her frustration openly, stating, “Let me tell you something… I want him to die, but I want him to die slowly. And while he’s dying, he better think of me. When I initially filed for divorce, my lawyer started the paperwork, and this guy started losing his mind.”
Cardi further explained that Offset’s desire for financial support stems from her request for “everything” in their separation and her assertion that she is no longer living with her children. She also refuted Offset’s claims that he rarely sees their children, asserting that he has only been present for their youngest, Blossom, about five times.

Her remarks come in response to Offset’s recent amended court filing, which also requests financial support. Although the specific amount remains undisclosed, this marks a notable departure from their earlier, more amicable breakup narrative. The financial demand appears to be driven by the disparity in their net worths-Cardi B’s estimated fortune ranges between $80 million and $100 million, whereas Offset’s is believed to be around $30 million.
The rapper is also seeking joint custody of their three children, with her residence listed as the primary home. Both parties have agreed to cover their own legal expenses during the process.
This isn’t the first time Cardi has spoken candidly about her strained feelings toward Offset. In a post on X in October, she wrote, “Honestly, I wish the worst for this man. I’ve never hated anyone so intensely, and these women are so eager to be with him.” She added, “Please just take this man off my hands; this burden is too heavy to carry.”
When followers reminded her that she chose to start a family with Offset, Cardi doubled down on her feelings. “Yes, I don’t want him dead… but I absolutely despise this manipulative, narcissistic piece of trash… And his family and friends will never verify him,” she declared. “He’s truly a dark cloud that follows everyone he encounters,” she added, even going as far as to say, “I don’t want him dead, but I’d love to see him get hit by a truck.”
The couple, who refiled for divorce in August, have a history of public disagreements and reconciliations. However, this time, it appears that their separation is final. Cardi has moved on from Offset and is now seen dating NFL star Stefon Diggs, with the two spotted together multiple times. Meanwhile, Offset has been seen with various women on different occasions.
In response to a social media comment about Cardi’s new relationship, Offset responded with a simple, “I’m happy for her!!”
