Organized by the Parent and Pals Association (PAFA), this year’s theme-“A Vibrant Life”-featured heartfelt pieces created by students from Nursery through Grade 1, exploring themes such as identity, family bonds, the natural world, and imagination.

Families and community members gathered for an evening filled with camaraderie, philanthropy, and celebration. The event included a lively live auction, engaging raffle activities, and attractive prizes, culminating in a total donation exceeding RMB 120,000. The funds will be directed to Heart to Heart Shanghai, supporting life-saving surgeries for children born with congenital heart defects.

Concordia Campus Welcomes Therapy Animals to Support Students During Exam Season

In response to the stress associated with Advanced Placement (AP) exams, Concordia’s Student Wellness Club, Sustainable Success, collaborated with Paw for Heal to bring therapy dogs and cats onto campus, offering students a much-needed break from their rigorous study schedules.

Guided by animal behavior specialist Mr. Wu Qi, the visit provided students with practical tips on how to manage anxiety through interaction with therapy animals, while also experiencing the calming effects of pet companionship.

Student leaders Rulin H. and Annelie C. expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “It was wonderful to see how much joy this brought to everyone.”
